Fuji apples are a crisp, very juicy apple. Although cultivated near Mt Fuji, Japan (it's namesake), it's actually a hybrid between two American varieties, Red Delicious and heirloom Ralls Janet.  This versatile apple is sweet enough for eating and crisp enough for baking.  Can be refrigerated for months!
