Our Story

In 1943, John Hardie purchased a single farm-to-market delivery truck to fill a much-needed service during wartime Dallas. Three generations later, this simple service has blossomed into one of the most respected fresh food distributors for professional chefs in Texas.

Just a few months ago, the world changed and restaurants shut their doors to fight a different kind of war. Hardie's responded by opening its doors to the public for the first time in its +75 year history, as grocery stores sold out of fresh produce, meats and eggs. Our curbside pick-up at the warehouse offers a safe, no-contact shopping solution.

Hardie's Fresh Foods is am 80 year old, family business with a legacy of delivering premium quality meats, fresh fruit, vegetables, artisan cheeses, local dairy and specialty foods to your favorite restaurants. Now our carefully curated line of fresh foods is available for homes with no contact curbside pick-up.
